Patches and Pointed Inc was founded in 1999 by Chris Lowe & Brenda Ward who had a vision of setting up a specialized club specifically for patched and pointed cats (therefore it would be a specialist club based on colour - the first and still the only one of its type in NZCF.
L-plate show 2024
A very enjoyable and successful day, as always.. Doesn't happen without very hard work.
Firstly I need to give lots more hugs to Chris for being a fabulous Show Manager and joint organiser.. working with you Chris is always easy after all we have been doing this for a lot of years. together.
We need to send huge thanks to our fabulous sponsors, Proplan (Nestle) who have been our very generous major sponsors. (We were Proplan first cat show) Odorex, Micromed, Orivet for the $150 DNA vouchers, Katikati Cat Rescue that our show was dedicated to, and who kept us fed all day with wonderful food, Hippo Health, Tu meke Kitten Milk Powder, Raine & Horne and the many others who donated raffles and prizes. no-one went home empty handed.
Thank you to Nick our Lovely Vet, Alison our Resident Photographer and Ian who take the most amazing photos and to all our fantastic supportive exhibitors and workers who work tirelessly all day to help make our show so successful every year.
This year we welcomed Jo Jones (our new Vice President) and her partner Scott. both were thrown in at the deep end. many many thanks to you both.

'Cat of the Year '2023
Our Cat of the year 2023 show was a big success and as usual Patches and Pointed being the front runners for new ideas implimented a new judging format. They were mixed comments however almost all with very happy with the idea and I bet so were the cats.
Many many thanks to those who contributed so much to the management and running of this show. Chris for all her hard work, Lee Waite, Our life member who every year donates so much, Catherine and the Katikati Rescue members for there tremendous help on the day, and the many others who gave of their time and hard work.
Our fabulous sponsors again did us proud...
This year we added another dimension to our show by adding a SUPREME BREED, and awarded stunning rosettes that were all sponsored by wonderful members, catteries and businesses.
